Guitarist Juanito Pascual will be arriving on the Portmouth music scene showcasing his flamenco music with his band at The Music Hall tomorrow night, Saturday November 17 at 6:00 and 8:00pm. 

Flamenco music is a Spanish genre from southern Spain, a type of music that Pascual sings and plays with  not only his own style but with a unique smoothness as well.

Juanito Pascual and his Flamenco band is a refreshing show that creates vibrancy among the overplayed music that we are used to.

UNH students may find this event especially helpful for networking purposes if they are looking to be hired for an internship to prepare for a future career with computers and media. 

The night will consist of a cocktail hour to meet with others that have the a mutual interest in the most current online media as well as specialists that excel in this field. These specialists will be able to present their latest projects that have to do with the web and smartphone apps. 

Even if you're not interested in creating the most innovative technology, it could be worthwhile to attend for some internet and phone pointers!

Artist Rufus Wainwright Scheduled to Perform in Portsmouth

Check out the show at Portsmouth Music Hall on Wednesday, October 24 at 7:30pm

Wainwright will perform songs from his recently released album,Out of the Game, which has a pop/classical type of feel to it, attracting a diverse fan base. Rufus Wainwright has taken the emotions of joy and sorrow that he has experienced in the past year from the birth of his daughter as well as his mother's death to create the soulful album.

According to themusichall.org, one of his singles off of the album entitled "Jericho" is reported to be NPR Music's favorite tracks of the year.Sister Lucy Wainwright Roche and artist Teddy Thompson, British Folk Rocker, will be performing as well.
